Jorge Lorenzo Dominate Estoril

Jorge Lorenzo

Jorge Lorenzo dominate Estoril in last 3 grand prix. On 2008, 2009, and 2010, Lorenzo is the winner on Estoril. Next MotoGP race will held on Estoril, Portugal. Talk about the domination, Lorenzo think that he can be the winner again. But the most important thing to him is keep the podium secure.

Starting his debut on 2008, Lorenzo took the Estoril wins. This good thing was continued on 2009 and 2010. "I'm ready to race at Portugal. Estoril is one of my special track.", said Lorenzo. "I've already win there three times, and I can do it again for fourth. But my goal is keep on the podium".

Lorenzo's statement is very realistic. This year, Honda was dominated in all test session. But first two race result are good enough for Yamaha.

Dani Pedrosa Seeking Estoril

Dani Pedrosa

Dani Pedrosa said that the progress of his recovery was getting better and better. This Spaniard also said that after some rehabilitation, his shoulder is getting better. Last Monday, Pedrosa did the routine check for his condition, and everything was reported as good.

Pedrosa now ready for his RC212V. Pedrosa was made a good start at this season with two podium, Losail and Jerez. Pedrosa still have more than 2 weeks for next race at Estoril. Now Pedrosa was planned to rest and step to the next race.

2nd on the championship is a good motivation for Pedrosa. Pedrosa also said that championship just begin at Estoril. 9 points behind the leader Jorge Lorenzo is not over for Pedrosa.

“I’m eager and motivated to return to competition to test the feeling I have on the bike, and to see if I can forget about these problems as soon as possible,” he continued. “The past few days I have been relaxing at home, getting in the rest recommended by the doctors. Even though a break in the calendar has coincided with the recuperation I have a lot of motivation to return to competitive fitness, working with the team and above all getting on the bike.”

“Looking at what has happened so far we arrive in Portugal with 36 points and nine behind the leader, and that’s taking into consideration the fact I was injured. The truth is that we have a very positive balance with which to face the Championship, which has only just begun,”

Jorge Lorenzo: Better Pedrosa Than Rossi

Photobucket

During a documentary about his career last December, Jorge Lorenzo spoke about 2011 MotoGP championship.

"It's nice to be considered the title favorite - he said in response to a statement from Honda listing him as such - but I think there will be no clear favorite for 2011."

The Spaniard also took the occasion to say who he would like to see win the championship, if he himself cannot do it.

"Naturally I'd like a Spaniard to win it, rather than Rossi, so that would be Dani Pedrosa.  Especially not that Valentino has moved to Ducati."
